NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 23rd April, 1981
S.O.349(E),—Whereas (he land, building, etc. mentioned herein in the schedule below are required for the purpose of construction
of Metro Railway and other works connected therewith in the city of Calcutta.
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the land, building, etc. referred to in the schedule below are required for
a public purpose.
The Central Government do, therefore, hereby declare their intention to acquire the land, building, etc. referred to in the schedule
below, in terms of the powers conferred on them under Section 7(1) of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (Act 33 of
1978).
Any person interested in the land, building, etc. referred to in the Schedule below may within twenty-one days from the date of publi-
cation of this notification put up objection, if any, before the Competent Authority as prescribed under Section 9(1) of the Act.
