NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th May, 1981

O.N. 25(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the

Election Commission of India hereby directs that the following further amend-

ment shall be made

in its notification

No. 434/UP/HJP/79(l],

dated

the

4th October, 1979, namely :—

In column (2) of the table appended to the said notification, against item 54,

for th© existing entry numbered 1, the entry '1, Joint Director (Consolidation),

Varanasi East' shall be substituted.

The above amendment shall be deemed to have taken effect from 6th May,

1981.
