makes the following amendments in the Tablt published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN 40/80, dated the 19th September,

1980 :—

In the Column "Description of goods" against S.S.No. 2603(A)(i), (ii) and (iii), the brackets and words reading as "(other than hand-

embroidered or hand-operated machine embroidered fabrics)" wherever they occur shall be omitted.

This "Public Notice" shall be deemed to come Into force on the 3rd of April, 1981.

32/F.No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India—Extra-ordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), the Central Government hereby

makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-40/80 dated the 19th September,

1980 ;—

For Sub-Serial No. 2713 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :-—

Description of goods

Jute manufactures Including made up articles manufac-

tured out of jute (Including Bimlipatam jute or Meata Fi-

bre), all sorts, in which jute predominates in weight, whe-

ther or not containing other materials like paper, plastic,

man-made filament yarn, spun jam etc.

(i) When exported as such :

00 When used as packing material in or in relation to

the export of goods eligible for drawback, other than

jute yarn, jute fabrics and jute manufactures.

Rate of drawback

No drawback is admissible in respect of jute con-

tent. The appropriate rate of drawback may be

paid for paper content, plastic content, man-

made filament yarn content, spun y?rn content,

and/or other materials contained, as the caw

may be, as specified against the relevant iub-

serial No. of this schedule subject to the condi-

tions if any, mentioned therein.

Rs. 660/- (Rupees six hundred and sixty only) per

tonne in respect of jute content plus the appro-

priate rate of drawback for paper content, plas-

tic content, man-made filament yarn content,

spun yarn content and/or other materials con-

tained aa specified against the relevant sub-

serial number of this schedule subject to th*

conditions, If any, mentioned therein.
