NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 5th November, 1981

S.O. 78(KE).—In puisuance of clause (d) of section H of the Foreign

Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976; (,49 of 1976), the Centra Government

hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Foreign Contribution

(Acceptance or Retention of Gifts or PiesentHtions) Regulations, 1978, namely :—

These regulations may be called the Foreign Contribution (Ac-'

ceptancc or Retention of Gifts or Presentations) Amendment Regu-

lations, 1981.

2.

In the Foreign

Contribution

(Acceptance or Retention

of Gifts-

or Presentations) Regulations, 1978 in regulation 3,

(a) for sub-clause (c) of clause (2) the following sub-clause shall be

substituted, namely :—

"(c) its approximate market value in the country of origin",

(b) in sub-clause 4, for the words "its market value in India" the

words "its market value in the country of origin" shall be

substituted.

(c) in sub-clause (7) a? well as in sub-clause (8), for the words "the

market value in India," the woids "the market value In the

country of origin" and for the- words "one thousand rupees",

whenever necessary, the words "three thousand rupee*" shall

be substituted.
