NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 9th November, 1981

G.S. R. 585 (E):—In exercise of the powers conferred by sec-

tion 41 of the Arm? Act, 1959 (54 of 1959) the Central Govern-

ment being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public

interest so to do, hereby exempts National Institute of Sports,

Patlala, having its Camp office at National Stadium Now Delhi

from the operation of section 10 of the said Act in respect of the

ammunition to be used In connection with the forthcoming

Asian Games, 1982, as specified in the Schedule annexed hereby

and subject to the following conditions, namely:—

(i) That the said Institute shall obtain proper licence from

the appropriate authority under the said Act for the

acquisition, possession and use of the said ammunition;

(ii) The Institute shall- maintain proper accounts of th«

ammunition Imported and shall make

the relevant

records available for inspections of the concerned

licensing authority as and when required; and

(iiij The Institute shall not use the ammunition imported

for any purpose other than for which it has been import-

ed.
