ORDER

G.S.R. 601 (E) —Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it k necessary and expedient so

to do for securing

the

equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely, fertiliser.

Now, therefore, in exercise of Ihe powers conferred by Section 3 of the Hssontial Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central

Covernrncnt hereby directs that the manufacturers specified in the schedule given below ;

1. shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1

of Ihe said schedule fertilisers of the description and quantity mentioned therein during the period 1st August, 1981 to 3)st Januay, 1982

at the rate of one-sixth of the iiuantity specified in the schedule in a month and

2. shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments or Union Territories and Commodity Boards pertaining to

the Commodity Gardens mentioned in column 1 of the said schedule a statement by 10th day of every month containing therein :

(i) The quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Onion Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned

in Column 1 with the ditcs of.^spatch duing previous month; and

(ii) The quantity of fertilisers which the said manufacturers proposes to despatch to the various dealers in the State, Union Terrl-

toiies an 1 Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 in the succeeding rrionth.
