NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th November, 1981

G.S.R. 604(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act,

1951 (61 of 1951) read with rule 4 of the Indian Forest Ser-

vice (Cadre) Rules, 1966, the Central Government, in con-

sultation with the Government of Rajasthan, heieby makes

the following regulations further to amend the Indian Forest

Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, name-

ly :—

1. (.1) These Regulations mny be called the Indian Forest

Service (Fixation' of Cadre Strength) Eighth Amendment Rs-

gulutions, 1981.

(2) They shaJl conift into force on the dale of their publi-

cation in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Schedule to the Indian Forest Service (Fixation

of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, under the heading

"Rajasthan" for the entries occurring thereunder, namely:—

"Conservator of Forests,

Shelter belts plantation

Deputy Conservator of Forests,

Shelter belts Plantation

(Social Forestry).

the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"Conscrtvator of Forests

Social Forestry

Deputy Conservator of Forests,

Social Forestry

G.S.R. 605(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act,

1951 (61 of 1951), read with rule 11 of the Indian Forest Ser-

vice (Pay) Rules, 1968, the Central Government, in consulta-

tion with the Government of Rajasthan, hereby makes the fol-

lowing

rules

further to amend the Indian Forest Service

(Pay) Rules, 1968, namely :—

1. (1) These Rules may be called the Indian Forest Service

(Pay) Ninth Amendment Rules, 1981.

(2) They shall come into force on the dale of their publi-

cation in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Iridian ForMt Service (Pay) Rules, 1968 :—

(a) In. Schedule III-A posts carrying pay above the time-

scale pay in the Indian Forest Service under the

Slate Governments, in the table against ''Rajasthan"

occurring in the first column and the corresponding

entries in the second column, for the existing entry,

namely:—

"Conservator of Forests,

Shelter belts Plantation"

the following shall be substituted, namely :—

"Conservator of Forests,

Social Forestry".

(b) In Schedule Ul-B posta carrying pay in the. Sen'or

time-scale of the Indian Forest Service under the

State Governments including posts carrying special

pay in addition to pay in the time-scale, in the table

against "Rajasthan" ocouring ;n the first column and

the corresponding entries in the second column, for

the existing entries, namely :—

"Deputy Conservator of Forests,

Shelter belts Plantation (Social Forestry)¹*

the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"Deputy,Conservator of Forests,

Social Foiieatry".
