NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 18th November, 1981

O.N. 85(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by rules 5 and 10 of the

Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961 and clause (d) of sub-paragraph (1) and

jub-paiagraph (2) of paragraph 17 and paragraph 18 of the Election Symbols

(Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, the Election Commission hereby

makes the following futthci nmendment in its notification No. 56/79 dated

28-9-1979 published an S.O. 557(E) in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,

Part II, lection 3(ii) dated 28th September, 1979, which shall be deemed to

have been made with effect from 29th October¹, 1981, namely—

In Table 4 appended to the said notification against Item 19. TAMIL

NADU, under column 2, insert the entry "21. Bicycle".
