SJLO. 2S(E).—Whereas the Central Government by Government notification

No, S.R.O. 218 dated the 4th August, 1981, published in Gazette of India,

Part II, Section 4, dated the 13th August, 1981, had extended the term of office

of all the elected members of Deolali Cantonment Board- up to 25th November

1981;

And whereat the Central Government is satisfied that in order to avoid ad-

ministrative

difficulties it is necessary to futher

extend the term of

office

of

all

the

elected member! of

the

said

Cantonment

Board,

Deolali,

up to 25th May, 1982;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the proviso to sub-Section (1) of Section 15 of

the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924) the Central Government hereby further

extends the term of office of all the elected members of Cantonment Board,

Deolali, up to 25th May, 1982, or the date of notification of elections of their

successors in office in the official gazette, whichever, is earlier.
