O.N. 87(E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred

in the

House of the People by the reason of the death of Shrimati

Sahodrabai Rai

a member elected to that

House from

5-Sagar (SC) Parliamentary constituency in the State

of

Madhya Pradesh.

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of section

149 of the Representation of the People Act. 1951 (43 of

1951),

the Election Commission hereby calls upon the

said constituency to elect a person belonging to the Scheduled

Caste in the State of Madhya Pradesh to fill the said vacancy

before 31st December, 1981 in accordance with the pro-

visions of the said Act and of the Rules and orders made

thereunder.
