NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 3rd December, 1981

S.O. 879(E).—The following dmft of certain Rules to amend the Central

Advisory Council (Procedural) Rules, 1952, which the Central Government

proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the

Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), j 3 hereby

published as requiied by sub-section (0 Of that section, for the information of

all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice ia hereby given thHt the

said draft amendment will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry

of a period of 60 days from the date of publication of this Notification in

the Official Gazette.

2. Any objections or suggestions which may be received torn any pergon

In respect of the said draft amendment within the period so specified will be

tuken into consideration by the Central Government.

DRAFT RULES

(1) These Rules may be called the Central Advisoiy Council (Procedural)

(Amendment) Rules, 1981.

(2) For Rule 3 of the Central Advisory Council (Procedural) Rules, 1952,

the following rule shall be substituted, namely :—

"3. Chairman—The Minister in-charge of the poitfolio 'Industry' shall

be the Chairman of the Council.'
