ORDER

New Delhi, the 22nd December, 1981

S.O. 9O6(F.)]18AAIIDRA|81.—Whereas by the Order of the Government

of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development)

No. S.O. 825(E)|18AA|IDRA|76, dated the 23rd December, 1976 (hereinafter

referred to as the said Order), the management of thi whole of the Industrial

undertaking known as Messrs Cauvery Spinning and Weaving Mills Limited,

Pudukkotni. was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 18AA

of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a

period of five years upto and inclusive of 22nd December, 1981 and the Tamil

Nadu Textile Corporation was authorised to take over the management of the

said Industrial undertaking;

And, whereas the Central Government Is of the opinion that it i» expedient

in the public interest that the said Industrial undertaking should continue under

the management of the Tamil Nadu Textile Corporation for a period of six

months upto the 22nd June, 1982 ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers confer] «d by sub-section (2) of

Section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65

of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue

to have effect for a further period of six. months upto and inclusive of the

22nd June. 1982.
