G.S.R. 679(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government

being satisfied that it ia neceaaary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes

the Following further amendmerit in the notification of the Government of India

in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 10-Customs, dated the

30th January, 1980, namely :—

In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and

"31st day of Decembe*, 1981", the figuros, fetters and words "31st day of

December, 1982" shall be substituted.
