G.S.R 68OtE).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8

of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the

following further amendment in the notification of the Government India in

the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 291|77-CentraJ

Excises,

dated the 12th September, 1977, namely :—

In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of Decem-

ber, 1981", the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 1982" shall bo

substituted.
