G.S.R. 682(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (t) of rule 8

of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 the Central Government hereby makes

the

following further amendment In the notification of Government of India in the

Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 234/79-Central Excise dated

the 20th July, 1979, namely :—

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "31st

day of December, 1981", the figures, letters and words "31st day of December,

1983" shall be substituted.
