IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

New Delhi, the 13th January, 1982

Subject : Submission of Quarterly Returns by Export Houses and Trading

Houses.

No. 3/220/81-EPC.—Attention is invited to para 192 and sub para 195(10)

of the Import Policy, 1981-82, published under Ministry of Commerce Public

Notice No. 13-rrC(PN)/81 dated the 3rd Asrii, 1981, as amended.

2. Under the said provisions, Fxport Houses and Trading Houses are re-

quired to send periodical statements in the prescribed form showing the receipt

and disposal of imported goods.

3. In many cases, the statements, in question, have not been received.

Therefore, Export Houses and Trading Houses which have not yet sent their

statements foi the quarters ending June, 1931, September, 1981 and December,

1981, should send the same so as to reach the Chief Controller of Imports

and Exports (Statistical Division), Udyog Bhavan, New Djelhi on or before

31-1-1982, with copies. thereof sent to the licensing authorities concerned.

These statement should also be accompanied by a separate statement showing

aggregate import item-wise from 1-4-1981 to 31-12-1981, of items in respect

of which the aggregate import of the export house/trading house was more

than Rs. 10 lakhs (CIF) in value.

4. Export Houses/Trading Houses which fail to send the statements,

as

above, will be liable to suspension of import facilities in their case without

prejudice to any other action that may be taken against them in this behalf.
