ORDER

Now Delhi, the 24th February, 1982

G.S.R. 79(E)/Ess. Com./Sugarcane—In

exercise

of the

powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities

Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby

makes tho following Order further to amend the Sugarcane

Control) Order, 1966, namely :—

1. (1) This Order may be called the Sugarcane (Conlroi)

Amendment Order, 1982.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. In tho Sugarcane (Control) Order, J966,

after sub-

clause i(9) of clause 5 A, the following sub-clause shall be

inserted, namely :—

"(10J. In case, the additional price determined under sub-

clause (2) or sub-clause ',(3), as the case may be remains

unpaid on account of the sugarcane grower not coming

forward to claim it or for any other reason, it shall be

deposited by the producer of sugar with the Collector

of the District in which tlie factory is situated, within

six months of the close of the sugar year. The Collector

•hall pay, out of tho amount so deposited, all claims,

considered payable by him and preferred before him

within Uiav years of the close of ihe suiui jear

which the sugarcane was
