RESOLUTION

New Delhi, tho 20th March, 1982

No, 4*/2/81-Jus.-—The Government of India had set up a three-member

Commission with Shri Jaswant Siogh as Chairman vide Resolution No. 46/2/81-

ILIS., dated the 4th September, 19S1 to consider all aspects arising out of the

demand for constitution of a Bench of the Allahabad High Court in the

Western Districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Commission was to submit its report

within six months. The Government of India have resolved to extend the term

of the Commission for a further period of six months. Accordingly, the term

of the Commission is extended for a further period of six months and the Com-

mission will submit its report by 3rd September, 1982.
