Subject:—Export Policy of Wheat Seeds during J 982-83.

File No. 40(39)/82-EII : -Attention is invited to Exports

(Control) Amendment Order No. E;C)O, 1977/AM(247,) dated

1he 16th August, 1982, on the above subject.

2. At present export of Poodjjrain Seeds including Wheat

Seids is allowed ui der CGL-3 subject to prrduction of a

Qja ity Control Certificate from a Certification Agency recog-

nised by State Government or the Natioi r ] Seeds Coirorfilton.

On a revltw of ihe position, it h?s been decided that while

export of Foodgrain Seeds sha I continue to be allowed under

OGL-3 as hitherto, requests for allowing export of Whea^

Seeds shill be considered "On Merits" by the Office of Ihc

Chief Controller of Imports & Exports, New Delhi.

3. Pre-chinge commitments entered into prior to the usue

of this Public Notice shall be considered in terms of piovisiors

of paragraph 226 of the Hard Book of Impoi t Ehport Pro-

cedures, 1982-81. The Applicants should follow the procedure

laid down in th: aforesaid paragraph,
