NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th November, 1982

G.S.R. 722 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3, read with section 7(2) (b) of the Major

Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government

hereby appoints the Joint Secretary (Shipping), Ministry ot Ship-

ping and Transport, as a Trustee to represent the Ministry of

Shipping and Transport, on the Board of Trustees of the Port

of Calcutta vice the Joint Secretary (Ports Operations), Ministry

of Shipping and Transport and makes the following amendment

in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry

of Shipping and Transport (Ports Wing) No, G.S.R. 285CE), dnted

the 31st March, 1982, namely :—

In the said notification, against Serial Number 8, tor the

entry "Joint Secretary (Ports Operations), Ministry of Shipping

and Transport", the entry "Joint Secretary Shipping, Mi.iistry

of Shipping and transport" shall be substituted.
