O.N. 5(E).—In pursuance of section 30 of the Represen-

tation of the People Act, 19SI (43 of 1951), the Election Com-

mission hereby appoints with respect to the election to the

House of the People from 3-Autonomous Districts (ST) Par-

liamentary Constituency in the State of Assam to bo held in

pursuance of the President's notification published in the

Gazette of India. Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3(iii), dated

12th January, 1983'—

(a) The 19th January, 1983 (Wednesday), as the last date for

making nominations;

(b) The 20th January, 1983 (Thursday), as the date for the

scrutiny of nominations;
