NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st November, 1983

S,O. H4^!(E).—Whereas election has been held in pursuance

of the notification No. SO. 788(E) dated 1st November, 1983

igsued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act,

195 J (43 oi 1951), for the purpose of tilling the seat of a mem-

ber of the Council of States elected by the members of

the

electoral-college of the Union territory of Delhi who retired on

2nd April 1982 on the expiration of his term of office;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act,

the name of the member elected by the members of the electoral

college of the Union territory of Delhi is hereby notified
