G.S.R. 931(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule

(1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Govern-

ment hereby makes the following further amendment in the notifica-

tion of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart-

ment of Revenue) No. 234|79-Central Excises dated

July, 1979 namely :—

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and

words "31st day of December, 1983", the figures, letters and words

"31st day of December, 1984" shall be substituted.
