NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 28tb July, 1984

S.O. 543 (E).—In

exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby

makes the following rules further to amend the Government of

India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely :—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India

(Allocation of Business) (One hundred and sixty-first Amend-

ment) Rules, 1984.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules,

1961, in the Second Schedule,—

(a) under the heading "Ministry of Home Affairs (Grih

Mantralaya)", under the sub-heading "Part II—Con-

current Subjects",—

(i) in the opening paragraph, for the words within

brackets "(as regards legislation only)" the words

"(as regards legislation only—except in respect of

entry 82)" shall be substituted;

(ii) for entry 82, the following entry shall be substi-

tuted, namely :—

"82. The Terrorist Affected Areas (Special Courts)

Ordinance, 1984—Establishment of Special

and Additional Special Courts and all other

matters, under the Ordinance."

(b) under the heading "Ministry of Law, Justice and

Company Affairs (Vidhi, Nyaya Aur Kampani Karya

Mantralaya)", under the sub-heading "C. Depart-

ment of Justice (Nyaya Vibhag)", entry 6 shall bo

omitted.
