Gover nment hereby exempts excisable goods of the de crip-

tion specfiedin column (3) of the Table hereto annexed ind

falling under the Item Number of the First Schedule to the

Central Excises and Sail Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) as is speci-

fied in the corresponding entry in column (") t f ttie said

Table from the whole of the duty cf excise levloble there on

under section 3 of said Act, subject to the conditions specified

in the corresponding eatry in column (4) thereof :—

Provided that—

(a) in respct of the said goods, the procedure set out

in Chapter X of the said rulos is followed; and

(b) the Assistant Collector of

Central Excise is

satisfied that the said goods have been used or, as thel

case may be, supplied or returned as picvided irj

column (4) of the said Table.
