NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs

Notification F. No. 11030/112007-UTL dated 7^th 2013 under the Commission of Protection of Child

Rights Act, 2005 as published in Official Gazette Daman and Diu vide Notification No. SW/509(8)

Part-II/2013-2014/192 dated 23/12/2013, the Administrator of U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and

Daman & Diu is pleased to Constitute a three (3) member Selection Committee under the power

vested in Section 18 of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.

The Committee shall comprise of the following :-

The Hon’ble Administrator of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman &

Diu

Chairperson

ii.

The Advisor to Hon’ble Administrator of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli

and Daman & Diu

Member

iii. The Secretary (Social Welfare and Women & Child Development),

Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu

Member

The said committee shall make its recommendation regarding the appointment of Chairperson

and Members of the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Commission for Protections of

Child Rights.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs

vide Notification No. Fno. 11030/1/2007-UTL dated 7^th August, 2013 and under Section 17 of the

Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, the Hon’ble Administrator of the Dadra &

Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is pleased to notify the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman &

Diu Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

The UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Commission for Protection of Child

Rights is constituted as under:

The chairperson and members shall hold office for a term of three years. The office bearers

shall exercise powers conferred upon and perform the functions assigned to the UT of Dadra & Nagar

Haveli and Daman & Diu Commission for Protection of Child Rights under this Act.

The head quarter of the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Commission for

Protection of Child Rights shall be at Daman District.
