Whereas, it appears to the appropriate Government that a total of 139.00 Sq. Mtrs. land is

required in Diu District, namely Land Acquisition for development of Pensao Beira Mar into

Heritage Hotel in Diu District, for public purpose as defined in Section 2(1) (vi) of the RFCTLARR

Act, 2013.

It is notified that for the above said project in Diu District, a piece of land admeasuring

139.00 Sq. Mtrs. of standard measurements is required. Details of the land acquisition is enclosed as

Annexure-I.

This Notification is made under the provisions of Section-11(1) of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30

of RFCTLARR, 2013), to all whom it may concern.

A plan of the land may be inspected in Office of the Collector, Diu and Chief Executive

Officer, Diu Smart City Limited (Requiring Body) during the working days and working hours.

Social Impact Assessment Report is also available on the official website of Diu District

Administration i.e. www.diu.nic.in. Further, it is also informed that the Deputy Collector, Diu is

appointed as Administrator under section 43 of RFCTLARR Act 2013 is also appointed vide

Notification No. 5/2/COL/Land/RFCTLARR/2015-16/2291 dated 04/08/2015.

The Government is pleased to authorize Mamlatdar, Diu and concerned Talathi to enter

upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts

required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in Section-12 of the said

Act.

Under Section-11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction

of land i.e. sale / purchase, etc. or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication

without prior approval of the Collector, Diu.

Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (Sixty

days) from the date of publication of this notification as provided under Section-15 of the Act before

Collector.

N O T I C E

WHEREAS, vide Preliminary Notification No. MAHSRP/Addl./16/2019/15/Rev(S)/2021

dated 11.01.2021, it was Notified under section 11 of the Right to Fair compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the land described

in the schedule hereto (thereafter referred to as the said land/lands) were needed or likely to be needed

for the public purpose, namely for the purpose of Construction of Infrastructure project of

Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project (MAHSR).

WHEREAS, a report was submitted to the Appropriate Government i.e. Hon’ble

Administrator, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli to proceed with acquisition process and the

same has been approved by the Appropriate Government i.e. Administrator of Daman & Diu and

Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

WHEREAS, vide Declaration No. LAQ/MAHSRP/Addl./16/2019/349 dated 05.06.2021, it

was declared under the provision of Section 19 of the Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation Act that

the said lands are required for the public purpose, and namely for the purpose of Construction of

Infrastructure project of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project (MAHSR).

WHEREAS, in connection with acquisition of land admeasuring 810 sq.mtrs. for

Construction of Infrastructure project of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project (MAHSR), the

Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli intends to take possession of land, the particulars of which

are given in the declaration u/s 19(1) of the Right to Fair compensation & Transparency in land

Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RFCTLARR) Act, 2013.

WHEREAS, under section 21 of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013, the Government intends to take

possession of the land in 30 days from the date of issue of this Notice, and claims to compensations

and rehabilitation and resettlement for all interests in the land, has to be submitted to the collector for

disposal within 30 days from the date of issue of this Notice.

The details compensation on the land acquisition as per the Annexure- I is enclosed herewith.

WHEREAS, under sub section (1) & (2) of Section 22 of the said Act, the Collector may also

require any such person to make or deliver to him a statement containing the name of every other

person possessing any interest in the land or any part thereof as co-proprietor, mortgage, tenant or

otherwise, and of the nature of such interest, and of the rents and profits, if any received or receivable

on account thereof for three years next preceding the date of statement, every person required to make

or deliver a statement under this section shall be deemed to be legally bound to do so within the

meaning of section 175 and176 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).

NOW THEREFORE, to facilitate causation of the above requirements, public notice is

hereby served under section 21 of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 that all persons having interest in the

said land to appear personally or by agent or advocate before the collector, Dadra and Nagar Haveli

on 10/08/2021 and to state in writing and signed by the party of his agent, the following:

a) The nature of their respective interest in their land;

b) The amount and particulars of their claims to compensation for such interest;

c) Their objection if any to the measurements made and marked on the referred area.

Please take notice that as provided under sub section 22 of the aforesaid Act, every person required to

make or deliver a statement under this section shall be deemed to be legally bound to do so within the

meaning of section 175 and 178 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).

II.

Terms of Reference for Special Task Force

a) Prepare a comprehensive Action Plan for implementation of Plastic Waste management

Rules, 2016 and phasing out SUPs with identified activities and timelines and synergising

efforts and resources of various departments/Agencies at UT/District/Municipal Council

Level

b) Assess Plastic wastes generated in UT with respect to collection, recycling and end of life

disposal and identify gaps in plastic waste management (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) policy,

implementation, enforcement and infrastructure, etc.

c) Strengthen the policy, regulatory, institutional mechanism/structures for the implementation

of Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 and phasing out of Single Use Plastics (SUPs),

design appropriate management strategies and allow for allocation of financial resources for

PWM including leveraging of funds from Swachh Bharat Mission.

d) Take measures for i) effective enforcement of Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 as

amended and ii) UT specific bans imposed on identified Single Use Plastic items.

e) Develop policies for supporting the adoption of alternatives to identified Single Use plastic

items prohibited under PWM Rules 2016 as amended.

f) Take measures to strengthen ULBs/GPs for segregation, collection, storage, transportation,

processing and disposal of plastic wastes

g) Prepare a detailed road map for activities to build awareness and outreach among public on

plastic waste management and reduction in the use of SUP items.

h) Develop strategy for building a strong public movement for mitigation of plastic pollution by

involving education institutions (Schools, Colleges / Universities) NCC, NSS, Scouts, Youth

Clubs, Eco clubs, Opinion makers and voluntary organisations with a detailed action plan in

this regard. support for policies

Afforestation Fund Act, 2016 (38 of 2016) read with Compensatory Afforestation Fund (Accounting

establish a Special fund called the “State Compensatory Afforestation Fund, Dadra and Nagar Haveli

and Daman Diu” referred as “State Fund” which shall be a non lapsable fund under an interest bearing

section of Public Accounts of Union of India with immediate effect.

The Administrator, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu is further pleased to adopt the

following Head of Accounts for the transaction of the State Fund:-

DECLARATION

WHEREAS, vide Preliminary Notification No. 3/84/LND-ACQ/2020-21/502 dated

05/02/2021, it was Notified under section 11 of the Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in

Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the lands described in the Schedule

annexed with the said Notification was needed or likely to needed for the public purpose, namely for

the purpose of Acquisition of land for widening of road starting from Bhenslore Kunta Border upto

NH-848B Junction at Village Bhenslore, Nani Daman.

WHEREAS, as required under sub section (2) of section 15 of the Right to Fair compensation

and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, objection were

accorded personal hearing by the Collector, Daman on 07/05/2021, and a report was submitted to the

Government Authority i.e. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu for the

proceed with acquisition process and the same has been approved by the Appropriate Government i.e.

Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

AND WHEREAS, the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is

DECLARATION

WHEREAS, vide Preliminary Notification No. 3/85/LND-ACQ/2020-21/500 dated

05/02/2021, it was Notified under section 11 of the Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in

Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the lands described in the Schedule

annexed with the said Notification was needed or likely to needed for the public purpose, namely for

the purpose of Acquisition of land for widening of Road starting from Bhimpore Char Rasta to

Mashal Chowk, Nani Daman.

WHEREAS, as required under sub section (2) of section 15 of the Right to Fair compensation

and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, objection were

accorded personal hearing by the Collector, Daman on 07/05/2021, and a report was submitted to the

Government Authority i.e. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu for the

proceed with acquisition process and the same has been approved by the Appropriate Government i.e.

Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

AND WHEREAS, the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is

satisfied on the basis of the Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the said land as described in the schedule hereto

hereafter referred to as the said land/lands is need for the public purpose.
