N O T I F I C A T I O N

In exercise of Powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 18 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha

Sanhita, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023), the Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli

and Daman and Diu, in consultation with the Hon’ble High Court, Bombay is hereby pleased to appoint

Shri Ashwin Thool, Advocate as Public Prosecutor for the U.T. of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman

and Diu for conducting prosecutions, appeals and other criminal proceedings pertaining to the U.T. of

Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu before the Hon’ble High Court, Bombay for a period of

One (1) year w.e.f. 30/09/2025 or till further orders.

The rate of fee shall be as per O.M. No. 26(1)/2014-Judl. Dated 01/10/2015 issued by the

Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Legal Affairs, New Delhi on the

same terms and conditions.

This is issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Administrator, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and

Daman and Diu vide dairy No. 1447902 dated 30/09/2025.

In supersession of earlier notification and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6

(2) (b) of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987, the Administrator, Union Territory of Dadra and

Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is pleased to nominate Hon’ble Justice Smt. Bharati Dangre, Judge,

High Court Bombay, as the new Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, Dadra &

Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
