NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that:-

1. An Election is to be held of a member to:

1 to 8 wards of District Panchayat

2. Nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or his proposer to the Returning Officer &

Collector, Diu or to the Assistant Returning Officer & Dy. Collector, Diu or to the Assistant

Returning Officer & Chief Officer, Diu Municipal Council, Diu at Collectorate, Diu between

at 11:00 am and 3.00 pm on any day (other than a public holiday) not later than the 17/10/2025

(Friday).

3. Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid.

4. The nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at the office of Returning Officer &

Collector at Collectorate, Diu on 18/10/2025 (Saturday) at, 11:00 am. onwards.

5. Notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered by a candidate or his proposer or his

election agent who has been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it to either of the

officers specified in paragraph 2 above at his office before 3:00 pm of 20/10/2025(Monday).

6. In the event of the election being contested, the poll will be taken on 05/11/2025(Wednesday)

between the hours of 7:00 am. and 6.00 pm.

આથી જાણ કરવામા આવે છે. કે,

૧.

દીવ જીલ્લા પંચાયત િા ૦૧ થી ૦૮ વોર્ડિા સભ્યોિી ચ ંટણી કરવાિી છે.

૨.

ઉમેદવારી પત્રકો, ઉમેદવાર અથવા તેિા િામિી દરખાસ્ત મ કિાર, ચ ંટણી અનિકારી/ કલેકટર અથવા

મદદિીશ ચ ંટણી અનિકારી/ િાયબ કલેકટર અથવા મદદિીશ ચ ંટણી અનિકારી/ િી કચેરી, મુખ્ય અનિકારી

દીવ િગર પાનલકા, કલેકટર કચેરી, દીવ મુકામે તારીખ ૧૭.૧૦.૨૦૨૫ (શુક્રવાર) થી મોર્ા િહીં એ રીતે (જાહેર

રજા હોય તે નસવાયિા) કોઈપણ નદવસે સવારે ૧૧:૦૦ વાગ્યાથી સાૂંજે ૩:૦૦ વાગ્યા સુિીમાં સોપી શકાશે.

ઉમેદવારી પત્રોિા િમ િા ઉપરોક્ત કચેરીએથી ઉપરોક્ત જણાવેલ સમયે મળી શકશે.

૪.

ઉમેદવારી પત્રોિી ચકાસણી તારીખ ૧૮-૧૦-૨૦૨૫(શનનવાર)િા રોજ સવારે ૧૧:૦૦ વાગ્યેથી ચ ંટણી

અનિકારી/ કલેકટર, સમાહતાડલય, દીવ મુકામે હાથ િરવામાં આવશે.

૫.

ઉમેદવાર અથવા તેિા િામિી દરખાસ્ત મુકિાર અથવા ચ ંટણી એજન્ટ (કે જે ઉમેદવારોએ લેનખત અનિકૃત

કરેલ છે) એ ઉમેદવારી પાછી ખેચવાં અંગેિી િોટીસ ઉપર ફકરા-૨ માં જણાવેલ ચ ંટણી અનિકારીિે તેમિી

કચેરીએ તારીખ ૨૦-૧૦-૨૦૨૫ (સોમવાર) િા રોજ સાૂંજે ૩:૦૦ વાગ્યા પહેલા સોપી શકશે.

૬.

ચ ંટણી કરવી પર્ે એમ હશે ત્યારે મતદાિ તારીખ ૦૫-૧૧-૨૦૨૫ (બુધવાર) િા રોજ સવારે ૭:૦૦ વાગ્યાથી

સાૂંજે ૬:૦૦ વાગ્યા સુિી કરવામાં આવશે.
