NOTIFICATION

No.7-7/EC/DD/2025: In exercise of the powers conferred on it under Rule 8 (1) of the Dadra and Nagar

Haveli and Daman Diu Panchayats (Election Procedure) Rules, 2023 and in supersession of all its

previous notifications issued in this regard, the Election Commission for the Union Territory of Dadra

and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, in consultation with the Administrator of the said Union

Territory, appoints Shri Vivek Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Rural Development, PRIs and Community

Development), UT Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu as the Director of

Panchayat Elections for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu with immediate effect.

Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Municipal Council (Elections) Rules, 2025 and in supersession of all

its previous notifications issued in this regard, the Election Commission for the Union Territory of Dadra

and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, in consultation with the Administrator of the Dadra and Nagar

Haveli and Daman and Diu, appoints Shri Vivek Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Rural Development, PRIs and

Community Development) UT Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu as the

Director of Municipal Elections, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, with immediate effect.
