OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: Declaration of Holiday on 14-04-2026, Birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

It has been decided to declare 14^th April 2026 (Tuesday) as a Public Holiday on account of the

birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, for all Government Offices, Semi-Government Offices, Local Bodies,

Commercial Banks, Industrial Establishments, and Public Sector Undertakings in the Union Territory

of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

The above holiday is also notified in the exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the

Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 (26 of 1881).
