Notice of publication of electoral roll in draft
To
The Electors of the 1-Daman & Diu Parliamentary Constituency.
Notice is hereby given that the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the
Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and a copy thereof is available for inspection at my office, Election
Cell, Diu and at All Concerned Polling Stations during office hours.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral roll is 01/07/2026.
If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a
name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it
should be lodged on or before the 09/08/2026, in Form 6, 7 or 8 as may be appropriate.
Every such claim or objection should be presented either in my office, Election Cell, Diu or to
the Concerned Booth Level Officer at Polling Stations or sent by post to the address given below so as
to reach me not later than the aforesaid date.

Office and all the polling stations during office hours.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the Electoral Roll is 01.07.2026.
If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a
name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it
should be lodged on or before 09/08/2026 in Form 6, 6A, 7, 8 as may be appropriate.
An eligible citizen, who is going to attain the age of eighteen years on any of the subsequent
qualifying dates in the year 2026, that is to say, the 1st October 2026, the 1st January, 2027 or the
1st April 2027, may also file his or her claim for inclusion of his or her name in the roll, in Form 6 in
advance, starting from the date of notice, and the same shall be considered and decided in the respective
quarter of the year with reference to the respective qualifying date.”
Every such claim or objection should either be presented in my office or to the AERO or to
BLOs or sent by post to the address given below so as to reach me not later than the aforesaid date.
