NOTIFICATION

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 45 of the Mental Health Care Act, 2017 read

along with notification of GOI, S.O.1557 (E) vide F.No. U-11020/2/2022-UTL dated 1^st April 2025,

the Administrator, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is pleased to constitute

the Union Territory Mental Health Authority as below: -

Psychiatric social worker having at-least 15 years of experience in the

field to be nominated by the State Government

Member

Clinical Psychologist having at-least 15 years of experience in the field to

be nominated by the State Government

Mental Health Nurse having at-least 15 years of experience in the field to

be nominated by the State Government

Two persons representing persons who have or had mental illness

Member

Two persons representing care givers of persons with mental illness or

organization representing care givers

Member

Two persons representing, Non-Governmental Organizations which

provide services to persons with mental illness

Member

The Authority shall exercise all powers conferred to them vide the Mental Health Care Act,

2017.
