करने पर, सात साल के बाद दल मे*ो रेल कारपोरेशन को शास,नक और पय-वे:ण शुक घटाकर 100 % सुरा

जमा रािश वापस कर दी जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION

Delhi, the 8th June, 2018

No. F.45/COT/WFD/17-18/2152-60.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Delhi

Preservation of Trees Act, 1994 (Delhi Act 11 of 1994), the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi,

hereby, in public interest, exempts an area of total 1.839 ha. approx as detailed below for construction of Dhansa Stand

Underground metro Station for extension of Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor of Delhi MRTS Project Phase-III., New Delhi,

from the provision of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the said Act.

The said exemption is subject to fulfillment of the following conditions:-

(a)

The applicant i.e DMRC shall make an advance deposit of an amount of Rs. 1,01,46,000 /- (Rupees One Crore

One Lakh Forty Six Thousand Only) towards security deposit for creation and maintenance of compensatory

plantation for a period of Seven years as follows:

(b)

The compensatory plantation as shown below will be raised and maintained for Seven years and monitored till

its successful establishment:-

(i)

1780 Nos. by User Agency i.e. DMRC at Azadpur Metro Station and Mukundpur Metro Depot. under

DPTA, 1994.

(c)

On successful completion and maintenance of compensatory plantation and submission of proof of 1780

established trees, 100% security deposit will be liable to be refunded back to DMRC after 7 years less

administrative and supervision charges.

(d)

The timber obtained from felling/transplanting of 178 trees shall be auctioned by the land owning agency/

DMRC and deposit the proceeds as revenue to the government.

(e)

The lops and tops obtained on removal of firewood species of trees shall be handed over by the Delhi Metro

Rail Corporation (DMRC) to the officials concerned of MCD for use in public crematoria of Delhi as firewood,

free of cost.

(f)

Before shifting of wood if any, from site of removal of trees, transportation permission for transportation of the

said wood shall be obtained from Tree Officer (West).
