NOTIFICATION

Delhi, the 19th June, 2018

No. F. 54 (452)/EO/EC/DSW/2017-18/9424.—In exercise of the Powers conferred by ‘the Public

Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act-1971 (40 of 1971) read with the Government of India,

Ministry of Home Affairs, notification number S.O. 735 dated the 24^th February, 1977, Lt. Governor, of

National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby declare all ten District Social Welfare Officers of the Department

of Social Welfare, Government of National Capital Territory Delhi as Estate Officers for the purpose of the

said Act for their respective jurisdiction of districts. The said officers shall exercise the powers and perform

the duties imposed, on Estate Officer, by or under the said Act for local limits of jurisdiction, in respect of the

Public premises of the Department of Social Welfare, Government of National Capital Territory Delhi. This

notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
