Delhi, the 25th July, 2018

F. No. ADM/LAC/SW/2016-17/48/3050.—Whereas, as per I^stProviso of Section 25 of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 the award is to be

made within a period of Twelve months from the date of Publication of the declaration under sub section (1) of section

19 of the said Act, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is hereby please to issue this notification.

And whereas, in the exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) was

issued vide notification No. ADM/LAC/SW/2015/921-927 dated 27^th July, 2017 for acquisition of Land measuring

2 Bigha 11 Biswa of village Bijwasan. Taluk/Sub-Division/ Tehsil/Block as applicable) Kapashera District South-West

Delhi.

And whereas, a proposal has been received from District (South-West) for extension of time for making award

under Section 25 of the Act.

And whereas, the requisitioning department i.e. Delhi Jal Board has requested for some more time for deciding

the elements of rehabilitation and resettlement entitlement for the project to affected families as provided under second

schedule of the Act.

Now, therefore, the appropriate government after considering the request of District (South-West) and in the

exercise of powers conferred under proviso of Section 25 of the Act, is pleased to extend the time for making award

under Section 25 of the said Act for a period of one year.

And whereas, In the exercise of powers conferred by sub section (1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) was

issued vide notification No. ADM/LAC/SW/2015/921-927 dated 27^th July, 2017 for acquisition of Land measuring 9

Bigha 12 Biswa of village Kair. Taluk/Sub Division/ Tehsil/Block as applicable) Kapashera District South-West Delhi.

And whereas, a proposal has been received from District (South-West) for extension of time for making award

under Section 25 of the Act.

And whereas, the requisitioning department i.e. Delhi Jal Board has requested for some more time for deciding

the elements of rehabilitation and resettlement entitlement for the project to affected families as provided under second

schedule of the Act.

Now, therefore, the appropriate government after considering the request of District (South-West) and in the

exercise of powers conferred under proviso of Section 25 of the Act, is pleased to extend the time for making award

under Section 25 of the said Act for a period of one year.
