DELHI APPROPRIATION (No. 4) BILL,2018

A Bill to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of

the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the services in respect of the financial year 2018-2019.

No. 21(42)/Apprn. 4/2018/LAS-VI/Leg./4082.—BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National

Capital Territoryof Delhi in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Short title.—1. This Actmay be called the Delhi Appropriation (No.4) Act, 2018.

Issue of ` 20,91,09,97,000/- from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of

Delhi for the financial year 2018-2019.—2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of

Delhi, there may be paid and applied further sums not exceeding those specified in column (5) of the Schedule, amounting

in the aggregate to the sum of Rupees Two Thousand Ninety One Crore Nine Lakh Ninety Seven Thousand Only towards

defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the financial year 2018-2019in respect of

the services specified in column(2) of the Schedule.

Appropriation.—3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the

National Capital Territory of Delhi by this Act, shall beappropriated for the services andpurposes expressed inthe

Schedule in relation to the said year.

STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS

The Delhi Appropriation (No. 4) Bill, 2018 is introduced in pursuance of sub-section (I) of section 29 read with

clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act,1991 (1 of 1992) to

provide for the appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, of the moneys

required to meet the expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund and the grants votedby the Legislative Assembly for

the expenditure of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi for the financial year 2018-2019.

MEMORANDUM REGARDING DELEGATED LEGISLATION

The Delhi Appropriation (No. 4) Bill, 2018 does not seek to confer any additional power of legislation on any

subordinate functionaries.
