PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

Delhi, the 2nd September, 2019

F.No. ADM/SE/LAC/2016 /506.—In the exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the

Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 read with

Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. S.O. 2740 (e) dated 21^st October, 2014, read with S.O. 2014(E)

dated 21.07.2015, it appears to Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi , being the appropriate Government

that in total 34526 Sq. Mtr. (3.4526 hectares) land is required in the Nagli Rajapur Village of Sub-Division Defence Colony in

District South East for public purpose for the 3^rd phase of the project, for construction of Elevated Road over the Barapullaha

Nallah starting from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar, New Delhi. Social Impact Assessment Study was carried out by SIA

Unit, School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University, Delhi and SIA report was submitted on 14^th March, 2018. Preliminary

investigation was conducted by a team constituted by Collector as laid down under rule 4 of the Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact Assessment and Consent) Rules, 2014. The

summary of the Social Impact Assessment Report/ preliminary investigation is as follows (copy of SIA report is enclosed

herewith as Annexure ‘A’).

The total number of 8 families are likely to be displaced due to the proposed acquisition of land. The reason

necessitating such displacement is given in the Social Impact Assessment study report in para 8.2.1 at page No.97 of SIA

report.

The Additional District Magistrate, South East Revenue District, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is

appointed as administrator for purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the affected families. Therefore it is notified that for

the above said project in the Nagli Rajpur Village of Sub-Division Defence Colony in District South-East, a the piece of land

under acquisition measuring 34526 Sq. Mtr (3.4526 hectares) whose detailed description is as following.:-
