NOTIFICATION

Delhi, the 26th November, 2019

F. No. 20/4/2003/HP-II/4601.—Whereas, heavy flow of traffic is causing obstruction in smooth flow of traffic

and inconvenience to other road users on road connecting Vivekanand Marg to Africa Avenue via road adjoining

Passport Office behind Bhikaji Cama Place;

And whereas, it is necessary to regulate the movement of traffic on road connecting Vivekanand Marg to Africa

Avenue via road adjoining Passport Office behind Bhikaji Cama Place to ensure smooth flow of traffic and for

convenience and safety of motorists and other road users;

Now, therefore, I, Suman Goyal, Additional Commissioner of Police/Traffic (HQ), Delhi in exercise of the

powers, conferred upon me under Regulation 21 of the Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Street

Regulations, 1980 do hereby declare ‘One Way’ traffic movement from road connecting Vivekanand Marg to Africa

Avenue via road adjoining Passport Office behind Bhikaji Cama Place for all type of vehicles for 24 hours, everyday, till

further orders.

This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the Official Gazette and by affixing a

copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in

Delhi/New Delhi.

The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding informatory

signboards indicating the restrictions in the area for the guidance and convenience of all concerned.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
