Delhi, the 7th October, 2020
F. 36(52)/Coord./Div.Comm/2016/442-453.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14
of the Waqf Act, 1995, (43 of 1995), read with Notification No. U. 11030/2/96 UTL-SO 572 (E) dated the
19th August, 1996, published in part-II, section 3, sub-section (ii) of Gazette of India, issued by the
Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. The Hon’ble Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of
Delhi, hereby appoints Mr. Amanatullah Khan, Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly, r/o A-9, Block-A,
Khajoori Road, Joga Bai Extension, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, Delhi-110025, as an elected member of Delhi
Waqf Board u/s 14(1) (b) (ii) of Waqf Act 1995, with immediate effect, for the remaining tenure of the
present board constituted vide notification no. F.36(52)/Coord./Div.Comm/2016/10076, dated 27.08.2018.
The Members of Delhi Waqf Board listed below shall meet on 19.10.2020 at 5:00 PM, in the
Conference Hall of the office of the Pr. Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Govt. of NCT
of Delhi, 5 Sham Nath Marg, Delhi-110054, to elect one member, amongst themselves, as the Chairperson
of the said Board, for the above mentioned tenure of the present board. The meeting shall be presided over
by the Pr. Secretary (Revenue), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, who shall conduct the proceedings for the election
of the Chairperson.
