फा. सं. 1/140/2012/गु.चु.जन./ 3211.—यद्यजि, दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत (सिस्ट्यों का जनवााचन)
जनयि 1974 के जनयि 3 के अंतगात दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत के चुनावों का अधीक्षण, जनिेि एवं जनयंत्रण
दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा जनिेिालय के अंतगात है;
एवं, यद्यजि यह आवश्यक है दक राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली िें, दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत के चुनाव
हेतु िान्यताप्राप्त द िलों द्वारा नािांदकत उम्िीिवारों और स्ट्वतंत्र उम्िीिवारों को उनकी िसंि के चुनाव जचन्हों का आबंटन
दकया िाये ।
एवं, यद्यजि जिरोिणी अकाली िल एवं अन्य बनाि गुरुद्वारा चुनाव के िंत्री का कायाालय, राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र
दिल्ली सरकार एवं अन्य िें WP (C) No. 3825/2021 िें दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने आिेि दिनांक 31.03.2021 के द्वारा
अजधसूचना दिनांक 30.03.2021, जिससे दक प्रजतवादियों ने दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत चुनाव जचन्ह (आरक्षण
एवं आबंटन) आिेि, 2021 को अजधसूजचत दकया है, िर चुनाव जचन्ह “बाल्टी” को लंजबत िुकििे के कारण फ्रीि करने की

सीिा तक रोक लगा िी है एवं आगे यह जनिेि दिया है दक उक्त चुनाव जचन्ह याजचकाकतााओं को आगािी दिल्ली जसख
गुरद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत के चुनाव िोदक 25.04.2021 को होने वाले हैं के जलए याजचकाकताा नं. 1 के द्वारा िनोनीत
उम्िीिवारों को आबंटटत दकया िाये िैसा दक िूवा िें दकया िाता था ।
अतः दिल्ली रािित्र िें प्रकाजित अजधसूचना सं. एफ.1/62/गु.चु.जन./2008(2)/1695 दिनांक 28.07.2010,
द्वारा यथा-संिोजधत दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत (सिस्ट्यों का जनवााचन) जनयि 1974 के जनयि 14 के द्वारा प्रित्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एवं दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के आिेिानुसार, जनिेिक, गुरुद्वारा चुनाव, राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र
दिल्ली, जनम्नजलजखत आिेि िाटरत करते हैं:-
1. संजक्षप्त द िीर्ाक, आवेिन एवं प्रारम्भ
यह आिेि दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक सजिजत चुनाव जचन्ह (आरक्षण एवं आबंटन) (प्रथि संिोधन) आिेि,
2021 कहा िाएगा ।
यह आिेि राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के रािित्र िें प्रकािन की जतजथ से लागू होगा ।
2. िैरा 2 िें संिोधन
िैरा 2 िें, ताजलका के बाि, जनम्नजलजखत उि-िैरा िोड़ा िाएगा:-
“2 (क) जिरोिणी अकाली िल एवं अन्य बनाि गुरुद्वारा चुनाव के िंत्री का कायाालय, राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र
दिल्ली सरकार एवं अन्य िें WP (C) No. 3825/2021 िें दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के आिेि के आलोक िें आरजक्षत जचन्ह
“बाल्टी” जिरोिणी अकाली िल द्वारा िनोनीत उम्िीिवारों को 25.04.2021 को होने वाले दिल्ली जसख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक
सजिजत के चुनाव के जलए आबंटटत दकया िाता है ।
3. िैरा 3 िें संिोधन
िैरा 3 के वाक्य “चुनाव जचन्ह ‘बाल्टी’ को लंजबत िुकििे के कारण फ्रीि कर दिया गया है” को हटाया िाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 1st April, 2021
F.No. 1/140/2012/DGE/ 3211.—Whereas the superintendence, direction and control of elections to
the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is vested in the Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, Govt.
of NCT of Delhi, vide Rule 3 of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Election of Members)
Rules, 1974;
And, whereas it is necessary to provide for the choice and allotment of symbols to the contesting
candidates sponsored by the recognized parties and to the independent candidates for election to the Delhi
Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee in the National Capital Territory of Delhi;
And, whereas the High Court of Delhi in WP (C) No. 3825/2021 in the matter of Shiromani Akali
Dal & Anr Vs Office of the Minister of Gurdwara Elections, Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors., vide order
dated 31.03.2021 has stayed the operation of the Notification dated 30.03.2021 whereby the respondents
have notified the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Election Symbols (Reservation and
Allottment) Order, 2021 to the extent the symbol “BUCKET” has been frozen due to pending litigation and
further directed that the said symbol, as in the past, should be allotted to the petitioners for the forthcoming
elections to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to be held on 25.04.2021 to be used by the
candidates sponsored by the petitioner no. 1.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 14 of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara
Management Committee (Election of Members) Rules, 1974 as amended vide Delhi Gazette Notification
No. F.1/62/DGE/2008(2)/1695 dated 28/07/2010 and in pursuance of directions of the High Court of Delhi,

the Director, Gurdwara Election of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby makes the following
order:-
1. Short Title, Application and Commencement :
This order will be called the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Election Symbols
(Reservation and Allotment) (First Amendment) Order, 2021.
It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Gazette of NCT of Delhi.
2. Amendment of para 2:
In para 2, after the table, the following sub-para shall be inserted, namely:-
“2A. The reserved symbol “BUCKET” is allotted for the candidates set up by Shiromani Akali Dal
for the elections to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to be held on 25.04.2021, in
pursuance of directions contained in order dated 31.03.2021 of the High Court of Delhi in WP (C) No.
3825/2021 in the matter of Shiromani Akali Dal & Anr Vs Office of the Minister of Gurdwara Elections,
Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors..”
3. Amendment of para 3:
In para 3, the sentence “The symbol ‘BUCKET’ has been frozen due to pending litigation” shall be
deleted.
