2. यत , इस प्रकार उत्पन्न ररज्त को भरने के प्रयोिन से उप-जन्ाानन कराया िाना है;

3. अत , अब, लोक प्रजतजनजधत्् अजधजनयम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 150 की उपधारा (1) तथा

धाराओं 30 रर 56 के अनुसरण में, भारत जन्ाानन आयोग, एतद्द्वारा:-

(अ) ददल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी राज्य क्षेत्र में 39- रािेन्द्र नगर ज्धानसभा जन्ाानन-क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करता है

दक ्ह 28 िून, 2022 (मंगल्ार) से पू्ा रर उ्त अजधजनयम रर तद्धीन बनाए गए जनयमों रर दकए

गए आदेिों के उपबन्द्धों के अनुसार ददल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी राज्य क्षेत्र ज्धानसभा में उ्त ररज्त को भरने

के प्रयोिन से एक व्यज्त को जन्ााजनत करे;

(आ) उ्त जन्ाानन के सम्बन्द्ध में-

(क) नाम जनदेिन करने की अजन्द्तम तारीत

06 िून, 2022 (सोम्ार)

(त) नाम जनदेिनों की सं्ीक्षा की तारीत

07 िून, 2022 (मंगल्ार)

(ग) अभ्यर्थथताएं ्ापस लेने की अजन्द्तम तारीत

09 िून, 2022 (गुरु्ार)

(घ) ्ह तारीत, जिसको यदद आ्श्यक हुआ तो

मतदान होगा; रर

(ड.) ्ह तारीत जिसके पू्ा जन्ाानन सम्पन्न

करा जलया िाएगा

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 30th May, 2022

No. 100/ECI/DEL-LA/1/2022.—WHEREAS, the seat of Shri Raghav Chaddha in the Legislative Assembly

of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, elected from 39-Rajinder Nagar Assembly Constituency, has become

vacant on 28^th March, 2022 by reason of his resignation; and

2.

WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused;

NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 150, and sections 30 and 56 of the

Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby:-

(A) Calls upon the said 39-Rajinder Nagar Assembly Constituency of the State of National Capital

Territory of Delhi, to elect, before 28^thJune, 2022 (Tuesday) and in accordance with the provisions of

the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person for the purpose of filling the said

vacancy in the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi;

(B) Appoints, with respect to the said election:-

(a)

the 06^thJune, 2022(Monday), as the last date for making nominations;

(b)

the 07^thJune, 2022 (Tuesday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;

(c)

the 09^thJune, 2022 (Thursday), as the last date for withdrawal of candidatures;

(d)

the 23^rd June, 2022 (Thursday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and

(e)

the 28^thJune, 2022 (Tuesday), as the date before which the election shall be completed; and

(C) Fixes the hours from 07.00 A.M to 06.00 P.M, as the hours during which the poll shall, if

necessary, be taken on the date specified above, for the election.
