Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995, the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of National

Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to re-constitute the State Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee to review

the implementation of the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,

1989, consisting of the following members: -

The total number of members shall not be more than 25. The Committee shall meet at least twice in a

calendar year, in the month of January and July to review the implementation of the provisions of the Scheduled

Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, relief and rehabilitation facilities provided to the

victims and other matters connected therewith, prosecution of cases under the Act, role of different officers/agencies

responsible for implementation of the provisions of the Act and various reports received by the Government of

National Capital Territory of Delhi.

The notification is issued in supersession of this Department’s earlier notification F. No. 43(49)/2005/

DSCST/PG/ 9815-38 dated 16/08/2022.
