Delhi, the 18th November, 2024

F. No. GGSIPU/Coord/Ord.14/78^th BOM/Amend/2022-23/345.—In pursuance of the provisions of

Section 27 (2) of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act 1998 (Act 9 of 1998), the Board of Management

of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in its 78^th meeting held on 27.12.2022 vide resolution to agenda

item no. 78.14 approved the following amendments in the clause vii of the existing Ordinance 14 related to

‘Appointment on Contract Basis or equivalent’ of the University:

Total leave admissible of all kinds shall not exceed 30 days

1. Total leave admissible of all kinds shall not exceed

30 days.

2. In addition to above leave, Maternity benefits

shall be granted to the Contractual women

employee in accordance with the provisions

mentioned

in

the

Maternity

Benefit

(Amendment) Act, 2017

This amendment shall come into force with effect from the date of approval by the Board of Management

i.e. 27.12.2022.
