PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

Delhi, the 28th March, 2025

F. No. ADM/LAC/SW/2022-23/1112514/21933.— In the exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1)

of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement

Act, 2013 read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. S.O. 2740(E) dated 21" October,

2014, read with S.O. 2014(E) dated 21.07.2015, it appears to Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi

being the appropriate Government that a total of 3 Biswa 2 Biswansi land is required in the Badusarai Village, Sub-

division/Tehsil Kapashera), South West Delhi, District for public purpose, namely, Construction of 4 Lane RCC Bridge

at upstream of RD 14468m on Najafgarh Drain for Irrigation and Flood Control Department(I&FC), Govt. of NCT

of Delhi.

Social Impact Assessment(SIA) Study was carried out by School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University,

Delhi Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate and final SIA report was submitted on 10.04.2024 as laid down under rule-4. The

summary of the Social Impact Assessment Report/preliminary investigation is as follows:

As per SIA report, the requisition parcel of land serves legitimate and Bonafide and is bare minimum

amount of land. There is no families likely to be displaced due to propose acquisition of land.

A total of Nil families are likely to be displaced due to the land acquisition. The reason necessitating such

displacement is given below.

The Additional District Magistrate, South West District, Revenue Department is appointed as Administrator

for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the affected families. Therefore it is notified that for the above said

project in Badusarai Village of Kapashera Sub-division/Tehsil South West Delhi District a piece of land measuring, 3

Biswa 2 Biswansi of standard measurement, whose detail description is as following, is under acquisition:

This notification is made under the provisions of section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013), to all whom it may concern.

The plan and other details of land to be acquired can be inspected by interested persons in the office of the

Collector, District South West on any working day during the working hours.

The Government is pleased to authorize District Magistrate, South West District, Delhi and his staff to enter

upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper

execution of their work as provided and specified in section 12 of the said Act.

Under section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e.

sale/purchase, etc., or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification without

prior approval of the Collector.

Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (sixty days) from the date

of publication of this notification as provided under section 15 of the Act before Collector.

If the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is satisfied that the Land is needed for Public Purpose,

a final notification will be published in the Delhi Gazette in due course.
