न्याय (बालकों की िेखरेख और संरक्षण) अजधजनयम, 2015 की धारा 27 की उपधाराओं (1), (2) और (6) तथा धारा 2 की

उपधारा 59 में प्रित िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली अजधजनयम, 1991 (2023 में यथा

संिोजधत) की धारा 45 (घ) के तित प्रित्त भारत के माननीय राष्ट्रपजत का अनुमोिन िो गृि मंत्रालय के पत्र

संख्या-14011/23/2024-दिल्ली-l दिनांक 05.04.2025 द्वारा सूजचत दकया गया िै, माननीय

उप-राज्यपाल एतिद्वारा जनम्नजलजखत व्यजि की जनयुजि बाल कल्याण सजमजत के अध्यक्ष के पि पर तत्काल प्रभाि से

दकिोर न्याय (बालकों की िेखरेख और संरक्षण) मॉडल जनयम, 2016 द्वारा प्रित सभी िजियों ि कततव्यों का

जनितिन राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली में बच्चों के िेखभाल की आिश्यकता और संरक्षण िेतु कायत करेंगे तथा उनके पि की

अिजध इस अजधसूचना के िारी िोने की जतजथ से तीन िर्षो तक िोगी।

Delhi, the 8th August, 2025

F. No. 61(2033)/Appointment of CWC’s & JJB’s/DD (CPU)/DWCD/2023/1557-1588.—In exercise of

the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) (2) & (6) of section 27 read with sub-section 59 of Section 2 of the Juvenile

Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and with the approval of the Hon’ble President accorded under

Section 45 (D) of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991 (amended in 2023) conveyed by

Ministry of Home Affairs’ letter No 14011/23/2024-Delhi-l dated 05.04.2025, the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, GNCTD

hereby makes the following appointment for the post of Chairperson in Child Welfare Committee with immediate

effect :-

The aforesaid Chairperson of Child Welfare Committees shall exercise the powers and discharge their duties

conferred on such Committees in relation to children in need of care and protection in accordance with the Juvenile

Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model

Rules, 2016 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The duration of their appointment will be for a period of three

years w.e.f the date of this notification.
