Delhi, the 8th October, 2025
No: F. 10(4)/SEC/MCD/Bye-Election/2025/20899.— WHEREAS 12 vacancies of Councillors
have occurred in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on account of one councillor having been elected as
Member of Parliament and 11 councillors having been elected as Members of the Delhi Legislative
Assembly in the recent election to Legislative Assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE, under the powers conferred under section 7C of the Delhi Municipal Corporation
Act, 1957, as amended till date, I Dr. Vijay Dev, State Election Commissioner, NCT of Delhi, hereby
appoint, in consultation with Govt. of NCT of Delhi, the Officers of Govt. of Delhi shown in the column no.
2 of the table below, as Assistant Electoral Registration Officers for the wards of Municipal Corporation of
Delhi, shown in column no 3 against each.
