दिनांक 29/01/2026 के क्रम में तथा भारत सरकार गृह मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना संख्या 2/1/60 — िुडल-2 दिनांक 20

अप्रैल, 1960 के साथ पठित िनगणना जनयम, 1990 के जनयम 8 के उप-जनयम (iii) में जनजहत प्रावधान के अनुसरण में,

दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र के उपराज्यपाल यह अजधसूजचत करते हैं दक दिल्ली नगर जनगम (एमसीडी) क्षेत्र में भारत की

िनगणना 2027 के जलए मकान सूची करण का काया 16 मई, 2026 से 14 िून, 2026 तक चलेगा और स्ट्व-गणना का

जवकल्प 1 मई, 2026 से 15 मई, 2026 तक उपलब्ध रहेगा। इसके अजतठरक्त, नई दिल्ली नगर पठरषि (एनडीएमसी) और

दिल्ली छावनी बोडा के अंतगात आने वाले क्षेत्र में भारत की िनगणना 2027 के जलए मकान सूची करण का काया 16 अप्रैल,

2026 से 15 मई, 2026 तक चलेगा और स्ट्व-गणना का जवकल्प 1 अप्रैल, 2026 से 15 अप्रैल, 2026 तक उपलब्ध रहेगा।

Delhi, the 20th March, 2026

F. No. 36 (146)/Census/Div-Comm/2025/978—In continuation of notification no. S.O. 99(E) of Govt. of India,

Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India), New Delhi

dated 7^th January, 2026 and notification no. 36(146)/Census/Div.Comm./2025/958 dated 29/01/2026 of the Government

National Capital Territory of Delhi and in pursuance of the provision contained in sub-rule (iii) of Rule 8 of Census Rule,

1990 read with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs' Notification No. 2/1/60-Judl.Il dated the 20 April, 1960,

the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to notify that the Houselisting Operations of

the Census of India 2027 shall take place from 16^th May, 2026 to 14^th June, 2026 and the option of self-enumeration shall

be operational from 1^st May, 2026 to 15^th May, 2026 in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) area. Further, the

Houselisting Operations of the Census of India 2027 in area falling under New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and

Delhi Cantonment Board shall take place from 16^th April, 2026 to 15^th May, 2026 and the option of self-enumeration

shall be operational from 1^st April, 2026 to 15^th April, 2026.
