NOTIFICATION
Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 30th June, 2025
CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.
No. GV/215 of 2025/UDUHD/MIS/e-file/18/2025/0679/M Section: WHEREAS having regard to the population of the
areas, the density of the population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment
in non-agriculture activities and the economic importance of the areas, it is considered necessary to include certain areas
in the existing local limits of the Khambhalia Municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 243Q and clause (d) of Article
243P of the Constitution of India, the Government of Gujarat, hereby,
(i)
specifies the areas as shown in the Schedule annexed hereto as the smaller urban areas; and
(ii)
notifies such areas as the municipal areas of the Khambhalia Municipality and the said areas shall form the
part of the Khambhalia Municipality.
No Government land shall vest in the Khambhalia Municipality.
