GUJARAT PROVINCIAL MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1949.

No. KV-413 of 2025-UDUHD/MRT/e-file/18/2025/7729/P Section: WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat

appointed District Collector Morbi to be the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Morbi vide the

Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. KV-08 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/

e-file/18/ 2024/5932/P Section, dated the 1^st January, 2025, for the period of one year, Which has commenced from the

1^st January, 2025 or till the councillors are elected in the first election of the said Municipal Corporation, whichever is

earlier.

AND WHEREAS the term of District Collector Morbi as the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of the City of

Morbi is scheduled to be completed on 31.12.2025.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 22 and 22B in Part IV of Appendix IV under

section 493 of the Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom. LIX of 1949), the Government of

Gujarat hereby extends the tenure of the District Collector of Morbi as the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation

of the City of Morbi. The District Collector of Morbi shall hold the office of the Administrator for the Three months

commencing from the 1^st January, 2026 or till the councillors are elected in the first election of the said Municipal

Corporation, whichever is earlier.
